Shimano M520 clipless mountain bike pedals, clicking noise?
Question by littlep2000: Shimano M520 clipless mountain bike pedals, clicking noise?
I bought a pair of these at the end of last season and I’m not exactly sure when it started but there is now a clicking sound every time I get to the top of my rotation on one pedal. I have tryed tightening both the release and the clips on the shoe with no avail, I also can hear it if I just push the pedal with the heel of the shoe (I thought it might be trying to jump out at first). One more thing there is no sound if I turn the cranks by hand, no weight on the pedal, and I dont believe it is them since the bike was recently worked on, and a reason a shop would not have noticed. Any help is appreciated, I’ll probably run it by a shop next week if nothing else.

Maybe there is something stuck in there so that when your weight is on it, it makes a clicking noise? I honestly have no idea why it would be making this noise. I think you should take it to the shop.
